shankly1985
Hello Is the bug you get when using the Headset driver or hardware? When using USB 3.0 the sound gets all crackly and stutters. But When it works I get better latency from the USB 3.0 ports on my motherboard than the Intel USB 2.0 ports. @RAMGuy Is it possible you would know if the New drivers aim to better support USB 3.0 or is this hardware limited? Thanks
Toasted
Some USB 3.0 ports are controlled by a third party controller which may cause these problems.

Toasted
I probably the 3rd party controller that is causing your issue. It might be a compatibility issue. e.g. the controller is suited more flash drives instead of headsets. If a USB 3.0 port was running off the Intel chipset, i think it the headset would work fine. Its the USB 2.0 intel thats giving me high DPC latency :( If I use the Etron 3.0 I get very low latency but the headset will stop working at random times, mostly when playing a game. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 5, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 5, 2013 What kind of problems do you have with the USB 2.0 ports? Try it on a second machine as well to see if the problem persists too. I'd like to know if it could be the dongle giving problems as I can replace just that part for you as well. Not a real issue, more just asking about the USB 3.0 vs 2.0 On LatencyMon when using USB 2.0 I get DPC spikes into 5ms now and then game audio pops/crackles But if I use USB 3.0 the latency is very low never passes 1ms but the audio will get messed up and you need to quit game to fix it. I was thinking it was Windows 8 and how we need to force install the drivers, but I now went back and installed Windows 7 and the Latency is the same. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 6, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 6, 2013 Hm, that may indicate a faulty USB port. However, if you'd like to try, I can change the dongle for you to see if the issue persists. Try it on a different machine though if you can like I originally suggested to see though if it makes a difference.
