Potkey
I purchased a corsair TX750 V2 last year about September. I bought it to power a GTX 550ti and when i create my new build with a 670. The power supply has been fine up until January this year when i lost all power to my pc and nothing would turn on. I have insurance for the original pc build witch does not include the power supply or the graphics card so i put the old parts back in and sent it of. when it returned i had a letter saying they had replaced the motherboard witch i could understand because it was a budget pc and i had had the pc nearly 3 years. so i got it back put the power supply and my graphics card back in and it was fine for about a month and the exact same thing happened. I have tried the paperclip method and the powersupply will power the fan just fine. I just want to know if i put this power supply in my new build exactly the same thing isn't going to happen again and this time the motherboard will be out of my pocket and not on the insurance company. I bought the power supply from amozon uk.

There is no way anyone could predict a failure like that. It's just impossible...Honestly that's part of the risk we take building/maintaining our own systems. New boards should be RMA' able for three years or the length of the warranty. What kind of system are we talking about? Could you please fill in the system specs in the drop down menu. Know what hardware you have really helps us out.
Potkey
Ive updated my specs. I don't have the the full specs at the mo as i have sent ti of to be replaced but this is what i could find. It's a packard bell i extreme 6622uk if that helps. What do you suggest should i just build my new pc put the power supply in and if it fries the motherboard claim on the boards warranty ?
