framspleen
I purchased my H100i several weeks ago. I've had it working well since then. I have the two fans that were shipped with the unit installed in the from of my case behind a filter, installed two new Noctua nf-f12 fans on the cooler and installed it in the top of my case to pull air into the case as well. All 4 fans are plugged into the pwm headers on the pump and controlled through the corsair link software. A pretty solid set-up. Everything working great, except when I started my PC up the fans would not always respond to the profiles properly until I had switched between them once or twice. One for quiet and one for gaming. It was easy to tell when was working properly. This week I purchased a new power supply so that I would be able to use the old one for a my GF's new rig to store her dance choreography videos. After I installed the power supply and hooked everything up again, the fans were not changing their speed in response to changes I was trying to make in the corsair link UI. When I switched the profiles, no matter how many times, the speeds would not change. When selected the fans individually and changed the behavior assigned to them nothing would change. I'm not going to go through all the steps I've taken since then: tried reinstalling the software tried updating the firmware (Error loading firmware file: H100i_v1.0.4.s19) tried installing link ver. 2.1.1 checked device manager for HID\VID_1B1C&PID_0C04&REV_0200 etc. (no problem there it seems) now in corsair link my h100i isn't showing up, let alone the fans, after numerous restarts. basically i'm wondering how I can start from scratch and make it work again. Does anyone think I might have to RMA? ugh.
Toasted
Plug the fans into the motherboard header and try a mini B to USB type A cable and see if the software detects the H100i.

H100 all over again but this time i got buzzy fans extra and dont now what to do with them bcs. in shop they dont know about that fault from Corsair and i am from Europe. Mine was working fine for few days and today just stoped showing h100i in Link2. I think problem is with USB driver and that Corsair USB feature dont like each other. It was directed at Corsair support staff in general as there have been zero replies, comments or reassurances in this thread from them.
babdi
RMA eing wont fix software glitch; and if you do, there is no guarantee that you will get a fine piece less the problems you are facing.
