viperman67
So, ive purchased a Corsair 1500 Vengeance gaming headset off ebay, Brand new from Sydney, Australia. All the documents are in there and everything is A-OK. ive been using this headset for about, 2 days now and it ****s itself. my issue is the following: Whenever im listening to audio, there is a slight buzzing sound in the background as if the bass is stuffed or the speaker plastic is vibrating too much. this occured on thursday, and i recieved the headset on wednesday, so i basically had it for 1 ****ing day... When i pay 90 odd bucks for a headset, i kinda want it to last for more then one stupid day. The exact same thing happened to my Razor headset i purchased for 110 bucks, within 4 months it shat itself with the mic as well. seems like noone can get a headset that lasts more then a friggin year... I have no idea how this happened, but i placed my headset on the computer desk infront of me whilst it was playing music. picked it up when i got back and it sounded alot less bassy as well as the buzzing sound. How do i approach this issue, because honestly, its a pain in the *** to send a headset that i have had for only 1 day back to corsair and waiting like, 2 weeks to get it back... Administrators Technobeard Posted March 1, 2013 Administrators Share Posted March 1, 2013 I'm sorry to hear about this viper. I'd recommend trying it on a different USB 2.0 port, or a different PC altogether if possible. As for replacing it, I'd recommend talking to the eBay seller, as typically items purchased on eBay don't have a warranty. http://www.corsair.com/support/warranty/ Corsair provides a non-transferable warranty to the purchaser of Corsair hardware product purchased from an authorized Corsair reseller. Except where prohibited by applicable local law, this warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
