After updated BIOS of my MO Asus P9X79 PRO to version 3305 x64

I experienced two system error blue screen

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x0000001A

PROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES 000STOP: 0x00000076

Following this I discovered that not all the RAM is detected by Windows7 x64,

I had 32gb, and now i find only 28GB.

I found a memory slot failed in bios, and it show 4 instead of 8 GB.

Here some screen of my bios:

I have a kit of 4*8GB (Tot 32GB) of ram,

I case of RMA i had to return the full kit,

so i would remain without memory.

I would ask for help about some test before delivery the kit,

or some trick to try repairing the Dimm by myself.

I had contacted twice the web support without any answer.

Thanks

[EDIT] I also have tried to move the DIMM to a different slot,

but it didn't resolved.

I also have booted pushing the MB MemOK botton without sucessfuly

If this didn't start until after the BIOS update then I would flash the board back the the version you originally had.

If it is a BIOS issue there isn't much Corsair can do about the memory. Or am I mis-understanding you?

If you take the stick that chows only 4 gig and put it in any other slot, does it read the full 8 gigs or does it still read 4 gigs?

I did so, and the stick still read 4 gigs.

I have also pushed the MemOK button for auto configuring memory while booting. And nothing has changed.

I don't know if it's related to bios, before i have updated the bios twice or more without any issues.

However this was the last changes made to my system.

Do you think i should try to flash back the bios to a previous version?

Asus support has told me that if stick still results abnormal, after moved to another slot, it is damaged.

I cannot test the memory on another MB.

I would be sure that there is no other trick, or test i could do, before RMA.

I have tried with Memtest++, and it still reads 4gigs.

But i am not an expert. Is there any official Corsair software to test or reset the stick?

Thanks
