Corsair Link 2 grinding the hell out of my HDD

I've had to uninstall Corsair Link 2 because while it's installed my secondary internal SATA HDD is constantly being read so much so that not only can I hear it grinding frequently non-stop but if I put I put fingers to it I can also feel the drive head having a spasm.

It is fine once Corsair Link is removed so there's no way I'm continuing to use it - it is obviously completely useless and bugged.

The downside is I no longer have the means to change my fan speeds so they're stuck at 1200RPM. The GTX 690 can handle itself and my Corsair 600T handles the case fans so there's no point even trying to fix the program to stop it grinding the hell out of my HDD.

Can I instead connect the fan speed knob on the Corsair 600T to the H100i cooler fans and control them directly?

Connected the H100i fans to the Corsair 600T's fan speed control knob. Works a treat although at the lowest setting the fans are quite noisy, whereas in Corsair Link I had the set to 1200RPM, the minimal setting on the Corsair 600T control is probably around 2000RPM. I'm hoping the Corsair SP120's I ordered will be quieter.
