M4KER Posted February 28, 2013 Share Posted February 28, 2013 I've had my set for about two weeks, I seemed to notice the charge doesn't last very long. I decided to run a stopwatch. Sure enough I only got 6 hours 28min usage before they shut off. Where does the advertised 10 hours of use come from? Am I doing something wrong? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 28, 2013 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 28, 2013 Battery life will vary depending on how you use it based on things like volume level, mic on/off, etc. I don't recommend you let the headset shut off though from a lack of power as that is a very quick way to kill the battery since it is a li-ion. M4KER Posted March 3, 2013 Author Share Posted March 3, 2013 My volume level is usually left between 12% - 15%. Anything higher than that is pretty loud. I use the mic but I would say probably 50/50. When I'm not using the mic I place it in the upright position to mute it and I charge the headset as soon as I hear the first warning tone. The longest charge I've managed to see is 6 hours and 42min. I would be very eager to see a full charge last 10 hours. I'm willing to bet the bank it's not possible, just saying.
