vlad1
Bought the SSD in the middle of 2011. Worked nicely till today when my laptop did not want to boot. Bios can't even enter into setup (hangs), unless I remove the SSD. Plugging the drive into another PC does not help, nothing is recognized in bios. I don't care much about RMA, I need to recover data from the device. There is a service center in my neighborhood specialized in HDD/SSD. Is there a chance to recover data from this dead SSD? I'm ready to buy another F120GB2 for spare parts or something. Or it will be a waste of time in this service center? Thanks.
Administrators Technobeard Posted February 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 28, 2013 It's not easy to get data off of a dead SSD, but I'd recommend taking it into the data recovery business and see what they say.
vlad1
In the service center they could not even detect with their specialized hardware and software that SSD is connected. Promised to do some further research, but I have no hope. Is it possible to do anything at all?
