Tosoft
Hi, I have a Asus P9X79 motherboard and a 8Gb ram (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9). My problem is that only 4GB is showing in Bios and in windows. It has the right timing and volt setting in bios. Thanks in advance for any idea's...
Synthohol
try 1 at a time, if the bios sees them both by themselves it may be a bad memory slot, bent pin under the CPU, incorrect ram placement (with 8 slots it may be just an oversight) or just a defective MB. escannihilator
Recheck your cpu placement, i had the same problem but with 32 gigs only showing 16 gigs. So i pull the cpu out and with a magnifying glass discovered i had a pin that was slightly bent(from over tightening the cpu cooler), so i straightened it out reinstalled everything and as soon as i booted up the pc recognized 32gigs. Pc has been running like a dream since
