Hexorg
Hello, I just installed h80i water cooling, and Corsair Link 2 (v2.2.0). However during the burn-in test, Corsair link reports CPU temperature of 100*C, while speed fan reports temperatures at 60*C. What's going on? HOODedAssault
Try real temp or core temp.
Toasted
The CPU temp in the LINK software is the average of all the cores.
Hexorg
Hm... well when running on stock speeds the core temp stays at about 75*C. While advertised temperature with 3770k is 47*C. Should I try to reseat the heatsink? P.s. my CPU is 3770k
HOODedAssault
Mine runs around 75° stock to but my motherboards over clock slightly even in optimized defaults (3.9ghz 1.24v) this wouldn't be so bad if my CPU didn't suck and need tons of voltage. At 4.4ghz I stay just under 90°… you can try to reseat if u want but you may get negative results. When I reseating my H100 I used to have with chill factor 3 it made it 1° worse. P.s. my CPU is 3770k every aspect of this test was probable done under ideal conditions, ambient temp,hardware/software everything is a perfect world so thats an ideal situation and theres many types of 100% computer load tests and getting those temps just wont likely happen.
