MattHartland
So I am in the UK and I purchased 8GB (2X4GB) Vengeance last year in April. That has recently become faulty. I sent it back to Ebuyer.com the place of purchase, and they are saying that because the item is over 6months old, they cannot replace it nor give me a full refund. They are stating that they will only give me a partial refund. Even though the product is under lifetime warranty, and also isn't even a year old. Synthohol
the warranty is with Corsair, not ebuyer. get your sticks back and use the "submit RMA" link on the left to start the process.
Administrators Technobeard Posted February 26, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 26, 2013 We have no control over Ebuyer's store warranty policy. If you RMA the memory through us we'll replace it through our lifetime warranty. http://www.corsair.com/helpdesk/
MattHartland
The problem is, is that I have asked for the product back so I can just deal with it through you guys but they said they have "processed" it and cannot do it. So looks like I've just been screwed over. Never dealing with that site again. /sigh
Synthohol
honestly i would go on their forums and raise hell. https://forums.ebuyer.com/ if they RMA the memory they will get new sticks back for free and likely sell them again. please insist on getting new sticks from them for free, they are failing to honor Corsairs warranty and should have either offered to do it for you or give you your sticks back. dont give up!!! Administrators Technobeard Posted February 27, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 27, 2013 The store doesn't have to honor our warranty, however they can submit a normal RMA just like a consumer can. You may want to ask them to RMA it to us for you.
