H100i not detected w/ new PWM fans?

Today I got my new PWM fans in the mail, and boy was I excited when I booted into Windows and heard little to no noise. These fans are great.

But then problems arose when I went to Corsair link. No more are ANY of my fans detected, nor is the H100i. All I see is my Nvidia GPU and my processor. My H100i as of last night was working fine with Corsair link and the 3 pin fans. I see "Corsair Link 2.2.0" and "Corsair Hydro USB 2.0" but no fans or LED is showing up. Not even the fans that aren't attached to the H100i directly, which used to be shown as well.

I really do not want to have to RMA this thing, it was working fine just the other day, aside from the fans.

The noise is great on these things :(

If it means anything, I also just installed a new GPU but I doubt that would affect much.

Specs in my profile. Please help :( I've tried re-attaching the fans and all that and pushing the usb thing further into the H100i. My h100i still is set to the red color I chose a few days ago while it was working.

@RamGuy please help

Also, if it means anything, before I got these new fans my H100i was detected and at firmware 1.0.0.

Try unplugging the usp header and replugging. I had the same issue and that worked. Although I am having issues with the sp quiet's I bought, the link doesn't control them so I don't think it will the quiet's. Should have got the performance.

This doesn't seem to have fixed it for me. Now I don't even see Corsair Hydro USB in the devices list. You don't mean while the system is on, right? O_O

I'd recommend updating the firmware of the cooler to 1.0.5: http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115836

Thanks so much for this link I didn't even know the new FW was out!

But sadly, when I try to update firmware, it says "Error Loading Firmware File!"

I tried plugging up my old garbage fans back in to see if they would make the H100i recognizable in Corsair Link and I still only see Corsair Hydro USB or whatever. :(

How does my unit go from apparently working fine aside from the fans to all these problems?

Edit: I managed to remedy the problem temporarily by unplugging the USB cable from the H100i and re-plugging it back in. It let Corsair link detect it at least, which allowed me to update it to 1.0.5. But sadly, this doesn't really fix any of my problems. Corsair link only will detect the H100i for a small time period, ranging from 5-15 minutes before it goes back to "Corsair Hydro USB". Could this be a problem with the USB Dongle thingy? I don't really mind considering I run all my fans on lowest settings anyways, but it would be nice to know I can have the ability to set up profiles :(

i use the nzxt internal usb expasnsion card - plugged it into usb header 1 on my MB and then plugged my H100i usb cable into the NZXT expansion hub and it worked perfectly - they cost about 16 bucks but not only did it workd for my H100i but it also still leaves you with more internal headers - also 2 regular usb plugs, which are now basically internal cuz they are on the hub in your case -
