Lashed
While I was playing a game the "q" key began to spazz out on me. After I exited the game the "q" key seemed to always be inputting "qeiopruw+7898" everytime I press it. I have tried install the firmware and unplugging it. I have also tried using the keyboard on a different computer. The same input of "qeiopruw+7898" happens. All the other keys are fine. (If you're curious how I got the "q" typed in, I used an on-screen keyboard) Any suggestions on how I can fix this? Something like this happened to me before when I was using the razer blackwidow except it was with the "1" key and it also typed random letters. Thank you! Toasted
Have you tried reinstalling the software and drivers?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 25, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 25, 2013 Lashed, this issue can occur if there was any liquid that seeped below the key onto the PCB (though this is not the only cause). If the firmware doesn't solve it as Toasted suggested, put in a RMA request and we can replace it for you.
