Blue LED died

The sad news. Blue LED stopped working. New, repleced water cooling H100i. The same problems as the first. Buzzing noise from pump, corsair link causes a BSOD. Question. How many times do I have to go back to the service and wait for a new unit? Who will we pay the shipping costs, my nerves and my health?

tricetri - Sorry to hear that. If you are within the return policy of your reseller then my suggestion is to get the unit replaced through them and take advantage of their return policy, it's probably faster and free shipping to send back, otherwise you can submit an RMA and we can replace the unit for you.

ram guy-I did update to the new firmware. Blue and green LED is still not working. The problem is not solved. I do not want to return this cooling to dealer for fear that I'll get the same defective product. Pump is operating normally and the fans are connected to the fan controler. Will wait a few months until you fix the problems in the Corsair and while in Croatia shipment arrives safe products.

Sorry for bad English.

LED going bad is considered to be a hardware failure, flashing the FW will unlikely fix this issue.

Tricetri - not quite sure what causing your BSOD but if you can call our customer service and have your unit replaced via our RMA process, we can assure that your replacement will be 1.05v.

Request an RMA to be assigned a case#.

Then send the faulty unit back to Corsair when they give you instructions for shipping.

Once Corsair receives the unit, they will send you your replacement unit.

For the shipping costs, quote some couriers and possibly you local post office and see which one is cheaper. It's recommended to get one that offers tracking info in case your unit goes missing.

Returned the unit to the store. RMA procedure is too complicated for me and too expensive.

Why not pull defective products from the market and ensure that customers receive corect product?

Because not all units are defective. Keep in mind that what ever issues you are seeing here are not widespread, there are thousands of units out there that does not have a single issue at all.

Yesterday I got a new unit. Fans with four pins and FW is 1.05. Is that the correct and final version of hardware? Everything is working normally except Corsair Link.BSOD after 5 minutes. Is this going to be fixed for windows 8 x64 with the new software?

I forgot to answer. After a lot of problems with previous versions Hydro H80, H100, and problems with the new version H100i, H80i, I'm sorry but I do not believe in what you wrote. I fear that in the future Corsair lose many loyal customers because of these things. A little more understanding from your part. That's what you say that you're sorry, does not mean nothing for me.
