Innuendo
Long story short ... Bioshock will not run (or it will, but with no sound) while using the Vengeance 1500. Bioshock has known issues with sound incompatibilities, and there is a long list of fixes to try on the Steam forums. Regrettably, none of them worked. Oddly enough, disconnecting the 1500 and running on standard speakers solves the problem. This leads me to believe the drivers associated with the 1500 do not support the FMOD Audio format utilized by the Bioshock franchise. Any help/workarounds for this problem is appreciated. shankly1985
I played Bioshock 1 other day and audio was fine for me.
Ninfur
It works with the HS1 driver, although the surround is kind of messed up. Link: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?p=595838#post595838
Innuendo
I figured it out. After seeing shankly's reply, I eventually decided to go under Hardware and Sound and just disable everything except the 1500. I can only assume something Realtek related was causing the problem. I'm curious what in-game audio settings are you guys using? The surround definitely seems off. I run the 1500 in 5.1 w/ Dolby on. I've tried 5.1 and Prologic so far, and neither seem quite right.
