RMA #5599864 aka where are new fans?

New driver is ready and work fine with win8 64bit. The bugs of hdd/sdd access and the usb drive remove are resolt.

 

Now i'm waiting for the other fan yet.

A question: with new software, i need to update the firmware of H100i for pwm fans?

That's great news. Glad to hear that the new version of the SW worked out for you.

 

Yes, you should update the FW to 1.05 when using the PWM fans.

The case fans, that are connected to the cooling node, work perfectly if i choose a profile among Quite, Balanced or Performance. Idem if i choose between Fixed Rpm or %.

The fans not responding if i choose Custom Curve, linked at liquid coolant temp, or cpu temp.

 

I read in another thread that someone solved this issue with new firmware 1.0.5 (i have 1.0.4, i'm waiting for PWM fans).

Hi guys,

now is more than a month that i open this rma. I said repeatedly that i have received only one fan, and i'm waiting for the other. Maybe you need a prove? Look at the pics...

 

I think Corsair is the best brand in pc products (my pc is almost all corsair brand), but in this case the cs is not at the height of his fame.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but just wanted to chime in that from my personal experience, getting on the phone with Customer Support (if you're able to do this) appears to be the quickest method to resolve these RMA delay issues.

 

I had emailed Corsair about the all too familiar problems with the H100i fans on the 8th of March, and their response was pleasingly swift, with an RMA issued that very day, after I had filled out the RMA form and emailed haroldn re the form's completion as instructed.

 

However, did get a mite impatient when trying to follow up with email inquiries re the status of the RMA, which seemed after that point to have been stuck with the infamous "Defective Parts Not Yet Received" message and a whole bunch of "N/A"s, as didn't hear anything back from Corsair...

 

Most recent email inquiry (18 Mar) did get an automated reply that haroldn would be out of the office until the 25th...

 

So, picked up the phone yesterday (19th), explained the situation to the CS rep who courteously apologised for the delay/miscommunications, and lo & behold, the replacement fans were shipped out to me that very evening, via UPS 3-day select!

 

Thanks Corsair for taking care of this particular customer, and good to see that ZioZeb's long, long wait's finally (apparently) over... :)

I believe in your every word, soundbloke. Unfortunately, I have some difficulty speaking in English (and even a bit to write, in truth ... thank God there is bing translator!)
