Jusser
I'm considering to upgrade my memory from 4GB to 8GB on my ASUS M4N68T-M LE V2 motherboard. I stumbled upon two kinds of chip-sets: the CMP8GX3M4A1333C9 and the CMX8GX3M4B1333C9, both of which are supposed to work with the Asus M4N68T PRO motherboard (which I suppose is similar to mine regarding RAM-compatibility), according to the Learn & Explore configurator. Neither of them are on the VQL though and my motherboard isn't listed, so I'd like some confirmation on that. Also, what exactly is the difference between them and with which one will I be better off if I want to decrease lag and/or loading speeds?
peanutz94
There really wouldn't be any performance difference between the two sets. The only thing different is the product line. The Domiators may provide extra overclocking headroom over the XMS line. However, with the older MB's they may not be able to use the modules that Corsair is producing today because of the chips used to make the modules. While either kit SHOULD work I would make sure where ever you buy them from has a good return policy in case they do not work.
Jusser
Alright, I might as well go for the XMS line then, since I'm not very interested in overclocking. Thanks for your help! :D:
