hadron12
Does anyone know: 1. what the Flash technology the Neutron GTX uses (SLC NAND) 2. what the write duty cycle is (1,000,000 P/E cycles) 3. any recommended SSD secure Drive Wipe software to use 4. Is there any software which can bypass the Translation Layer (if used) Much appreciated...
Toasted
3. Use Parted magic to secure erase the SSD.

Minimum of 3000 cycles over most of the chip (NAND is allowed to have some nominal number of failed blocks during it's life) 3. Parted Magic has an erase tool works well on most computers and drives. 4. None. Such a tool would reveal too much of the drive's internal works to ever be allowed to stay in the firmware past debugging. About the only way would be to remove the flash chips from the drive and read them manually.
