PSU output current

Recommended Posts

I am wondering if you have information on the output current of your PSUs (specifically the CX500M). I would like to use one of the outputs to power a couple of vacuum tubes through a transformer but need to know the current in order to design the circuit. Also is the current stable or is it dependant on the load on the other outputs?

the output is printed on the label for each voltage rail.

as far as distribution, say the 12v rail is 24A and you use 12A, then 12A will be available to another connection.

also using the PSU for other than its intended purpose of powering a desktop PC may void the warranty.

This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from, but not limited to, any of the following:

Wear and tear associated with normal use

Any modification, abuse, accident, disassembly, misapplication, or unauthorized repair

Removal of any manufacturer label(s) or sticker(s)

Any improper operation, including any use not in accordance with any supplied product instructions
