ZVariable
Installing Force GS 360GB drive, will be cloning existing C: drive onto it. I've read that SSD's should be aligned with diskpart prior to copying the system image onto them using this command in diskpart: create partition primary align=n Is this correct? Also, what value should be used for n with this particular drive? Thank you.
Toasted
If you are using Windows 7, Diskpart should automatically align the partition without the need for the align=x. I might be wrong though.
Administrators Technobeard Posted February 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 28, 2013 That's correct, Vista and up will automatically align partitions on an SSD. Just keep hitting next on the install screens and you'll be fine!
