BornFireDragon
I recently purchased a K90 & M90. I've been having odd issues with both, but for now I wanted to figure out why I can't press any keys after POST. I can't enter safemode unless I manually switch it on from Windows. My cheap usb keyboard can do it so I would expect this to be able to as well. I have checked all usb settings in the bios as well as different ports. The keyboard works fine once into Windows and also works fine in the bios, just not in between. I can't use F8 to enter safemode and I also can't stop windows from trying to do a system repair. Anything requiring a key press is not registered unless in bios or Windows. I also notice that while i'm trying to get the keyboard to do something during this time, the lights flicker on and off. Otherwise the lights work great and do not flicker. I've updated to the latest firmware. So what gives?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 19, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 19, 2013 Some BIOS have issues with enumerating our keyboard correctly. We have reported this to the motherboard manufacturers and some of them have deployed BIOS updates to improve USB compatibility. Have you tried what Toasted suggested and updated o the latest BIOS?
