srvngrc
I have the known fan issue with my GS700. I made a RMA request and they will replace my PSU. I'm wondering that can i want a different series PSU (HX650 or TX650) instead of my GS700.

If this is the model CP-9020030-NA of HX650 that Corsair will give you do some google search with keywords like "CP-9020030-NA Review", "CP-9020030-NA noise", "CP-9020030-NA sound" and then decide. I think this is the lasted model of the TX650 (CP-9020038), do the same thing with this.

Only if they do not have any replacements available. They may give you the GS800 but generally when you RMA something it is for the exact same model . Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 20, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 20, 2013 And that issue with the fan noise has been fixed so replacing the unit for the same model will solve that issue.
