mudvari
I just got a replacement a week or so ago, and now today I wanted to put a fan filter on the rear intake fan, but guess what One screw doesn't want to screw the RAD...!! just rotates and doesn't hold on to anything. other three looks ok for NOW! but for how long maybe a third time and couple of other screws will fall!! is this something common or am i the only one having this issue!!!! Toasted
It's not common issue. You can request an RMA to replace the H80i.
mudvari
Not common...!!! hmmm!!! I thought it would've been a little bit common as this is the second one that's doing it (not yet but one more go at RAD and definitely gonna go loose)..!! Anyways, I'll RMA when I get back from overseas, for now am not OC'ing but just playing games... Thx toasted
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 22, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 22, 2013 Toasted is correct, we rarely come across reports that the radiator screw holes are not threaded correctly. Best is simply get the unit replaced, either by your re seller or via RMA process.
