Lynx
Is anyone familiar with Nforce2 based motherboards and compatibility with 2x1GB memory modules? I am having difficulty running my TWINX2048-3500LLPRO, 2x1GB modules at their rated specifications on my Nforce2 system. Here are my current specs / settings: Motherboard: Abit NF7-S V2 (Nforce2 based) CPU: Model number: Athlon XP-M Barton 2500+ L2 Cache: 512 KB Voltage: 1.45 Part number: AXMH2500FQQ4C Settings: FSB: 217Mhz (real) CPU Multiplier: 9.5 CPU Vcore: 1.5V Chipset voltage: 1.6V Timings: 2-3-2-6 (and 1T) Ram voltage: 2.8V Problem: Memory errors at these settings in Memtest. What should I try?
peanutz94
Try changing command rate to 2t and see if that helps any. And are you just using the two sticks? And were they purchased in a kit or separately?
