masse70
Hi After getting everything up and running since my initial problems with getting my LED-strip to work im now getting a new really annoying problem. My Commander unit makes this loud and annoying buzzing/ticking noise wich overpowers every other nosie my case does. Is this normal or do anyone else have this problem? Furthermore wonder if it´s normal that the LED in the back of the Commander unit constantly flashes in red/oragne/yellow really frantically? masse70
- The noise no it's not normal. - The LED yes it's normal. Well, i cant really understand how its even able to do this noise. I mean, there is no moving parts and only electonics in the box. Can it be some sort of transformer noise? Furthermore i dont see the point with that led, whats it even good for? Its just annoying to se the whole chassi being lit up and flashing as a result.

Toasted
Have you tried a different USB 2.0 header? Plug the Commander unit into another motherboard and see if it still makes the noise. If it still makes the noise and you had recently purchased the Corsair Link Kit, contact your seller and ask if they can replace it for you. If not, request an RMA to replace it. The L.E.D. is there to indicate the device's status. If you don't like it, use black take and cover it.
