teajei
Hi had mine since October and been hearing crackling noises which comes and goes randomly and I even tried on other PC's and still makes these noises, so I requested an RMA on 1/27/2013. But because I was busy for the last couple of weeks I have not sent it out yet. Then today I noticed that the right side was really quiet or losing sound. Is it ok if I use the same RMA or request a new one or could someone add this issue to my old RMA? My RMA number is 5554046. And one more thing is it possible to get prepaid postage? I bought the headphones for around £80 and it would cost me nearly half of that just to ship it back to corsair :sigh!:
Toasted
Contact customer service via phone and ask if they can assist with the shipping. You can call them via their toll-free number using Skype. I think RMA's are valid for 90 days. So you should still be able to use the previous RMA. teajei
Thanks for the info, I'll try to get in touch with CS. Silly question, when they receive my headphones will they check for other issues besides what I stated on my RMA request?
Toasted
I think they will as you need to find the cause of problem to prevent these kinds of issues from happening.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 19, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 19, 2013 All products returned to us do indeed go through a breakdown and any issues in addition to what you report are recorded for our reference. It does take a while though to get these results so that is why we don't repair products and just do straight replacements.
