Davidloudfoot
Hi, I have an h100 pumps and fans are a bit loud so looking for a fan controller... Link looks fantastic but so many suggestions of problems with the latest version I am not sure if its worth the cost or will be a lot of trouble. Does anyone have this working without any problems Also does the link alter the pump speed or just the fans ? Your comments welcome D
snfo
You can always wait to see if the next version of the software solves the major problems.
Toasted
The LINK software will allow you to change the fans RPM. The pump speed will always be constant.

Raven0215
Decided to wait.....will keep an eye out for the update. I think you probably made a good decision. Hopefully the next software update will fix a lot of problems but from what I have been reading on the forums here and from my own personal experience the product isn't quite as ready as it should be. I could be totally wrong on this but I think the state of the product has something to do with the fact that you aren't finding the link kits for sale at places like amazon or newegg

Slight flaws? for the most point corsair says it only supports corsair fans NOW and using basic software like yourself does not do corsair just! Seriously a company that does not yet support windows 8 is a slap and cannot even support win 7 properly is even worse. Please stop defending the lack of support, knowledge, code writers, etc this product is a train wreck at best! I urge all people not to buy this product and wtynt you are proof since you will not run latest software either.

tastyhouse
The product has much more than just slight flaws. Parts of it are entirely unusable and the parts that do work have bugs galore. It is functional to some degree, and it will be awesome when it gets fixed / patched etc. If you're looking for a mature stable solution link is not the answer... For now. I am currently using the Asus software that came with my motherboard since my link is currently being RMA'd. Honestly it gives me just about all the functionality that I use with the link. If i had more motherboard headers available I would probably just try to get a refund on my link and go with the Asus software. The link has a "nicer" interface and slightly more detailed but its not like I look at it all the time it is just something I want to set and forget about and not have to worry about.......or have to pay return shipping for my RMA.....or worry about my fan not being supported.......or my corsair fan not working on the H100 and having to plug it into the cooling kit not sure why that is except they want you to buy more cooling kits instead of using the 4 slots on your H100. The not supporting fans thing really gets to me. They don't market it as a use only corsair fans product but when you have a fan thats not corsair and I see people here with problems they are like well get a corsair fan. I don't think I have ever seen a "supported" fans list but I have seen several updates that say they have better support for different fans. I have also seen a large amount of problems with people having problems with the newer corsair fans.
wytnyt
i used it too but its limited in its own ways too some fans work-some dont and will only set a single speed i run 7 fans on one unit,8 on the other so asus cant handle nearly that many. i guess its all in what you want or need
