leoxtxt
I've been using this cooler for almost two months with no problems at all, nothing (not even the USB cable) was connected to it because i used my own set of four fans (Noctua F12's) but then a few days a go i started to notice a pink-ish- color tone instead of the usual bright white, that left me with no choice but to connect the USB cable and check with the Corsair Link software if all the LEDs were working...i was right, the white LED is dead, only the RED and BLUE are working which is not a big issue for me since i like the red color as well but i'm afraid if the pump is going to be next on the failure list.... ps: Honestly I've no intention to RMA it because the cooling performance is not affected (yet -.-) but if the LEDs are starting to fail so soon i wonder how reliable is this product... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 15, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 15, 2013 LED going bad will not affect the cooler's performance at all. The only thing I can suggest right now if the LED is not functioning as intended or maybe of the colors is not showing as they should, best is get the unit replaced via RMA process. Otherwise, if you can live with the fancy LED feature, the cooler will still do its job keeping your CPU temp within acceptable range or maybe better.
