Hawkeye1
My Vengeance 2000 headset literally just broke. Had it for just over 4 months now, been very gentle with it, as money doesn't grow on trees for me. Aside from some lint on the earpads (and now the giant break in the plastic), it looks almost new. I just submitted a RMA request. Hopefully Corsair gets back to me soon. I'm getting quite fed up with PC component companies manufacturing bad/shoddy parts and selling them. I just had to RMA a WD drive that I had for only 2 days because of bad sectors. My case number is #5624620. Hopefully this all goes smoothly and I only have to do this once (which shouldn't even have to happen in the first place). I don't have a lot of money to play UPS hot potato. Hawkeye1
Yep, it's been approved. Thanks. The process went express sometime last night, apparently. They've been shipped, and hopefully it's a quick turn around. I also hope the set that's sent back has the appropriate amount of tensile strength in its plastic for this kind of application. If the forums are to be believed, this seems to be a common issue, all of them breaking in about the same place. I hope someone's looking into this issue; these are otherwise awesome headsets. Quick question for anyone that knows, I shipped everything (including the dongle and both cords) back inside the original box, inside a cardboard box: was I supposed to keep the usb wires and the dongle? Administrators Technobeard Posted February 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 15, 2013 They'll ship you a complete headset kit, but no, you didn't have to send the USB wires. The dongle is required however. You're good to go.

Hawkeye1
Guys, is there any reason I shouldn't be concerned about the status of my RMA? My headset was delivered to Corsair yesterday at 10:20AM. Your system says it may take UP TO 24 hours to update that it's been received, but so far, 31 hours later, nothing. My UPS tracking number is #1Z60X8480385773881. It was going to your facilities in Hayward and apparently was delivered there.
Administrators Technobeard Posted February 22, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 22, 2013 They may just be very busy. I wouldn't worry.
Hawkeye1
Ram Guy or Technobeard, Is there a number I should call, a person to talk to, to figure out what has happened to my headset? It's been nearly 5 days since it arrived at Corsair and the RMA status still states it hasn't been received. As I'm sure you're aware, it's only supposed to take up to 24 hours to update after arriving. I'm really hoping either of you might have an answer for me or at least something to help me find out what has happened. I really don't have time or money to try to chase down a $100 product I had to ship back because of a manufacturing defect. I would appreciate any help either of you might have for me. Synthohol
you can call them toll free http://www.corsair.com/us/company/contact/ during business hours of course :)
Hawkeye1
you can call them toll free http://www.corsair.com/us/company/contact/ during business hours of course :) Well, today it finally updated, but in a strange way. See the attached photo for the screenshot. Basically, the system is listing a part number (CA-9011115-NA) and a quantity (1), but is still saying they haven't received my package. Is this normal? Does this mean they have it and are processing it now?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 25, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 25, 2013 I checked the system for you. They are processing it at this time.
