cyendrey
I just installed an H80 system (replaced an H50). Previously I had stacked fans on the H50; had one going to the CPU fan speed connector, the other to a central fan controller. Now I've put both fans to the H80 fan connections; since startup, the fans keep revving up and down regardless of profile selected even while the system is idling. Very annoying - what is the problem - do I need to go back to my original fan control configuration?
Toasted
Have you tried resetting the firmware? Have you tried switching the fan plugs? To reset the firmware, use the following procedure: 1. While the computer is running, hold down the profile button for approximately five seconds 2. Wait one minute, while the unit continues to run 3. Shut down your computer 4. Press and hold the profile button for five seconds while turning on the power to your computer.

cyendrey
I've ordered some different fans ( the reset made no difference). I may also put them back on my fan controller. I used the fan that came with the cooler on the interior side and used my existing cooler aster r4 that I had used on my H50 on te exterior side.
