fbwerbung
Hey there, I sent in a failed hard drive two weeks ago, it was delivered on Feb. 8th according to DHL and when checking the RMA status on http://www.corsair.com/support/technicalsupport/ it shows me a small note at the bottom saying Your RMA has already been processed and/or shipped. Does that mean it is already on the way back to me? Because I did not receive any confirmation that it arrived you, or what you did, or any confirmation of sending it back. fbwerbung
Confirmation mail for shipping just got in. Sadly there is no information what actually happened? Got it fixed? Is it a replacement drive? Some info would be nice.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 19, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 19, 2013 We will normally replace all RMA's, and this SSD is no longer in production so the only replacement will be a factory refurbished drive.
fbwerbung
So I get my very same drive back repaired or another drive of the same kind? It matters because of the data which was on it and if it can be restored by me or anyone else.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 20, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 20, 2013 We will replace the drive for another unit that is the same model. And even if you got the same drive back all of the data would be erased that is part of the testing process.
