Ram compatibility with other brand rams

I am looking to upgrade my laptop's (model is dell inspirion n5110) memory from 4 gig to 8 gig used corsair memory finder got these one CMSX4GX3M1A1600C9.Now my question is will it be compatible with my present 4 gig stick of samsung ?

If your system is not listed on our memory finder then I would check with the OEM of your system to be sure it will support 8.0 Gig modules. The Chipset and CPU should support it but the system manufacturer may not have included BIOS support for higher density memory modules.
