noobasaurus
Hey Guys, I have a Corsair Force GT on my early 2011 macbook pro. I have mountain lion installed 10.8.2 The drive has the latest 5.03 firmware. I have TRIM enabled Im having an issue where over time my computer slows down. kernel_task starts using 100% of my cpu and the computer goes down to a crawl. I have done a lot of research online and it all pointed to the hard drive. I went to disk utility and did a verify disk and it told me there are issues with it. I went into recovery mode and repaired it and everything was back to normal. This has happened multiple times now. Kernel_task goes to 100%, i go do disk repair and the disk is fast again. I dont know if this means the drive is bad in any way or if its just not supported on macs that well. Any help would be appreciated.
Toasted
Check if you have the latest updates for your Mac. There really isn't much that can be done as it might be a OS issue if it repairs it and works and goes back to 100% again.
noobasaurus
yeah i think it is a OS issue. I was reading online and other people are having issues with it. I guess is not as compatible with osx.
