Jokerman
Hello, I've bought a Corsair Voyager Slider 16GB and, in essence, this happens: if I try to copy a large file from my system ssd to the pen connected to the USB 3.0 front panel of the case, sometimes immediately after some other, the copy stops (as seen in the screenshot below) http://thumbnails103.imagebam.com/23682/e80251236813803.jpg In the Windows Event Viewer getting this warning (Event ID 51): http://thumbnails107.imagebam.com/23682/daa28b236813886.jpg The problem occurs only in writing from the SSD (Samsung 840 Pro) to pen connected to the front panel of the case (Antec Solo II) connected to the motherboard's internal USB 3.0 header (Intel DH77EB). As if I connect the pen to the USB 3.0 ports in the back panel of the motherboard, it works perfectly both in writing and in reading. I also tried to connect a Kingston USB 2.0 to the USB 3.0 front panel and it works perfectly, reading and writing. Thank you very much for your help. Motherboard bios is latest version (0099) and 840 pro firmware is DXM04B0Q that I have updated a few days ago.
Toasted
Have you tried another USB 3.0 drive and see if the same issue occurs? It might be a front panel issue.

Yes, I have tried previous version but the problem is the same :( It could be the USB 3.0 header on the motherboard? PS. I tried to connect a usb 2.0 flash drive to the usb 3.0 ports on the front panel and it works perfectly.
Toasted
It sounds like a front panel issue. If the drive works fine using the ports at the back of the motherboard. Contact your case manufacturer and they may help you.
