mj23wizards
After 1 week now i can hear some electrical noise. It's very high, intermittent but I think that is coming from the pump... Is that the famous hi pitching noise? Another very strange thing today Intel CPU Temp at idle 43-48 degrees????? Why? H100 temp 26 degrees. What's wrong now? Everything was fine till yestarday... garshol
I have the same sound on my unit. As read on this forum; (I've been lurking for a while) I have come to notice that a lot of users have this issue, and that there is a Firmware Update coming in the near future. I think we just have to be a little bit patient with the dev team, as they have a lot to do, and wait for the update. :)

Are related with these noises?

Are related with these noises? My idle right now is at 37'C. Ambient is 23'C. So, it is not as it should be. Mounted with fans on top, and rad on the inside in my Graphite 600 Case. (See attatched photos).

Don't know what are the standard values for 2600k at idle (1600 mhz core voltage 1.088-1.104) The costum mode is supposed to work with CPU temp or H100i water temp?

So in the same general area. The custom fan mode is to give you control over when the fans get air and not. Are your fans blowing from the case -> out or from outside -> in? I would recomend you to mount it so that the fans blow ambient air through the rad.

Do you really think that changing that configuration could improve temperatures? Now everything is fine but when my pump is making that electrical noise the temperature rise... Don't know how... garshol
It should drive more air inside your cabinet, thus pressurizing it, instead of giving it a lo-pressure zone with hot air in it. It worked for me, and i have 3 fans blowing in (1 200mm and the 2 120 on the rad. No trouble with heat from the GFX card either, as it has more cool air to work with. Probably you're right but do you think that keeping air from the top is a good thing? Usually known config blow hot air to the top... I read an article on tom's hard about that.. I read an article on tom's hard about that.. That was more specific on older configurations where cpu and gpu produced more heat. Think of it as "Forcing" the air out where you want it. I force it out back. It will run cooler that way. Especially if you have SLI or Crossfire cards in. It will also force cool air begind the motherboard tray, which is not a bad thing.
