Corsair H100 Thermal Compound applying ?

Hello

 

I am using Corshar H100 with i7 3930k@4.5Ghz for 7 months.

 

At the beginning H100 can keep IDLE temp. around 32 Degree.

And Load temp. around 62 Degree ( 4.5Ghz )

 

Last week i noticed that CPU's IDLE temp. around 44 degree

And Load temp. around 73 degree

 

I check the thermal compound and nothing left..

 

I bought Arctic Cooling MX-4 thermal compound. I try to apply that compound 2 times. But it is reduce only 1 degree at first time and 3 degree at second..

 

So please help me , how do i have to apply that thermal compound correctly?

Just use that amount of paste and put your CPU cooler directly on.

 

This one gives a little more info.

 

Also remember to dust off your radiator and/or fans as that seems to be your problem in my mind.

corsair reccomends a paper thin layer across the plate,i use this method but stop short 1/8'' from each side using a credit card
