Strange RPM readings in corsair link

I have had corsair link up and running fine for about 3 months now. Just recently all the fans connected to my cooling node are reporting bogus rpms. They do seem to run at the correct rpm. When I set the fans to performance they audibly speed up. When I set them to quiet or a custom rpm they slow down. I have a mix of corsair and akasa fans connected and all 5 of the fans appear to be doing this. I also have 4 fans connected to the H100 on my system and they are working fine. I actually have akasa fans connected to the H100 as the corsair fans didn't seem to work with it.....odd.

A little more background. Originally i wouldn't have noticed the problem except all of a sudden the fans on my computer got really loud. I checked the software and all 5 fans on the cooling node listed 0 rpm and it was as it wasn't reading any of them. I tried reinstalling software several times and no luck-infact the cooling node woulnd't even recognize them. I submitted an RMA since i thought maybe it stopped working correctly.

Since yesterday all 5 fans are now showing up but with the above described problem of not showing correct rpms. The cooling node is 1.2.5

I would prefer not to do an RMA if possible but I have tried wiping the software several times.

Another note my AX860i is working correct and my H100 seems to be working fine

Just kind of throwing this out not sure if anyone has an ideas of what might be causing this.

That didn't make a difference. I already received an approved RMA from corsair to send in my cooling node and commander. Kind of stings that I have to pay return shipping for something that has had so many problems at this point I am wondering if I shouldn't just use the software that came with my motherboard to manage the fans.

Went ahead and removed the corsair link and installed my fans on the mb headers. They are all working correctly with the asus fanxpert2 software so it doesn't look like it was an issue with the fans but I didn't suspect that 5 fans would have gone bad all at once.
