Toasted
Is the profile saved to the M90 and is hardware playback enabled? What game are you playing? Some games, e.g. BFBC2, has an option to hold the sights.
nick.m
yes the profile is saved and no hardware playback isnt enabled,,game is black ops and yes it does have the option for sights,,but most of the time it works ok then changes
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 8, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 8, 2013 Try it in hardware playback. Save it to the mouse and then check hardware playback (make sure you're changing the LED to the profile you saved it to).
nick.m
i only have 1 profile at teh moment..once i tick hardware playback it slows my mouse right down like some 1 has put a real low dpi on allthough the dpi inst changing,,also in hardware playback mode some of my buttons stop working
Toasted
Use the DPI Up/Down button to adjust your DPI. If some of the buttons are the "Launch app.." feature, it will not work in hardware playback as it's a Windows limitation.
nick.m
all the buttons are assigned to keystrokes,,the dpi its self is not altering,,i know this because im watching the dpi slider,,i can put hardware playback on and put the dpi to its highest setting and there is no change but as soon as i untick hardware playback dpi work as it should

Toasted
Add some delays to the buttons and see if that helps when the M90 is on hardware playback. Create a new profile under "Manage Profiles" > New Click "Assign Buttons" > MR Button > Side button key > type your number. Once you are done, press the MR button again to stop the recording. Do this for all your keys excluding the Teamspeak PTT. For Teamspeak PTT, use "Keystroke" under "Button Options" > "Basic Buttons". To change the M90's DPI, you'll need to assign a button for DPI Up/Down. Seeing button "4" being the only empty one, assign it to DPI UP located in "Button Options" > "Advanced Buttons". This will increase the DPI when the M90 is on hardware playback mode. Refer to this blog post for enabling hardware playback. http://www.corsair.com/us/blog/enabling-hardware-playback-mode-on-the-corsair-vengeance-m90-performance-mmo-and-rts-laser-gaming-mouse/ If you don't understand anything above, tell me which key is for Teamspeak and i'll update your profile for you. nick.m
ok i will give that a try tomorrow night but may i ask why the team speak button needs to be done in a different way
Toasted
The Teamspeak buttons is done a different way as it's a push and hold to talk. If there were delays, i'm pretty sure it will turn on, turn off after holding it down.

Toasted
@nick.m When you click the button do you see? ▼1 0.500 seconds Delay ▲1 If so, that is normal. Take a look at the Software user's guide http://www.corsair.com/media/cms/manual/Vengeance_M90_Software_Users_Guide_Rev_1.1_.pdf
nick.m
ok here is the new profile i created with your instructions,,only problem now is even though i assigned buttons for profile up and down i cant select this profile,,i can only get 1 light showing on the mousenew bo,s.zip
Toasted
Assign the profile to the current lit L.E.D. then try the Profile Up/Down button. Do you see a percentage next to the Save to M90 button? Is hardware playback enabled? Button 12 does not have a delay in it, If it doesn't work in-game, add a delay and see if it works fine.
