blasitoman Posted February 7, 2013 Share Posted February 7, 2013 Good evening, I have a problem with the Corsair RAM, I bought a 4GB DDR3 memory, my computer already had installed two memory modules of 2GB each, but when I install the new Corsair memory I get the following message the home screen of the computer: "The system has experienced boot failures Because of overclocking. Last setting in BIOS setup may not coincide with current H / W states: Current CPU speed: 14.0 x 200 MHz Current Memory Speed: 1333 MHz HT Current Speed: 2000 MHz " The characteristics of my computer are: * CPU Type: AMD hexacore Phenom II X6 1055T, 3315 MHz (16.5 x 201) * Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 (4 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394) * Motherboard chipset AMD 770, AMD K10 * DIMM1: Mushkin 991 947 (996 947) 2 GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (9-9-9-24 @ 666 MHz) (8-8-8-22 @ 592 MHz) (6-6-6-16 @ 444 MHz ) * DIMM2: Mushkin 991 947 (996 947) 2 GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (9-9-9-24 @ 666 MHz) (8-8-8-22 @ 592 MHz) (6-6-6-16 @ 444 MHz ) * DIMM3: Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 Vengeance 4GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (9-9-9-24 @ 666 MHz) (8-8-8-22 @ 592 MHz) (7-7-7-19 @ 518 MHz) (6-6-6-16 @ 444 MHz) If you need more information please let me know I hope some solution, thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 8, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 8, 2013 Please remove the old memory and install the new modules then go to BIOS setup and load optimized defaults and set the memory Voltage to 1.6 Volts then exit the BIOS saving changes and test them with http://www.memtest.org But you may not be able to mix the memory like that.
