someduck Posted February 7, 2013 Share Posted February 7, 2013 Long story short: I could not record macros with my M90 mouse on my laptop and I solved the problem. I was running: OS: Win 8 Pro 64 bit Mouse firmware: 1.11 Mouse software: 1.00.00.29 I would press the MR button and it would briefly light up, but it would never blink like it should when recording. I finally figured out that I need to go to my mouse settings and uncheck the "Disable internal pointing device when external USB pointing device is attached" option (for the built in trackpad). Only when this is unchecked can I record macros. Oddly enough it only needs to be unchecked; I do not need to click Apply or OK. Not sure what the problem is with the drivers (or which drivers), but hopefully this will help someone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
