H80i Link Pins on CPU Block

Recommended Posts

Hello, i recently purchased a h80i cooler from turkey (31.01.2013), i mounted it as instructed but problem ins the sockets and pins on cpu block that the Y cable supposed to get in came off.I didnt use exessive force or sth.I pluugged the cable in then moved it tryng to see if it is socketed right way then the plastic covers around the cpu blocks link pins stuckted to the Y cable's head.Same happened with the second socket too.I dont think that supposed to happen.I wonder if this is a case for rma and i want to get information about this.I post here hoping i'd get some early answers=),Thanks in advance

Last two speaks for themselves i took them after they r broken, i had the same problem with second socket too, the pins bended after their covers came out, when i tried to plug Y cable again.

The rma # is 5591337, i just got comfirmation mail today and i will ship the unit on Monday. And i am as surprised as you about How that happened :-), i did not use a Lot of force was just checking if the cable fit or not then that happened. And i got one more question, what is advanced rma, i read a little about it but didnt understand How it works and if it covers my situation

Advanced RMA is kind of self explanatory, it is where you call our customer service and request the parts be sent to you before you send the failed parts back with the use a credit card to guarantee the transaction.

I did send our customer service a message and asked them to contact you about this.
