Delph
Hi all, just bought a new HX650w to replace my old Dell 460w. All was fine for a couple days, then the graphics card decided to crash. Sometimes it lets me boot into Windows then crash with stripes on the screen, sometimes it goes to a gray screen which turns black in about 10 sec, requiring a reboot. The supply also does whine a tad when I stress the system, but the crashing is something I need to fix. At this point, I'm not sure if it's the power supply, or the graphics card; I plan on picking up a tester at Frys. The cables are firmly in, the two 6pin PCIe cables are connected to my HD6870. Maybe it's a voltage problem? Or maybe I didn't plug in things correctly.
Delph
Found the problem, it was the graphics card. 2nd replacement too... Never been so happy to see a component fail! It's not my brand new Corsair.
