Sejanus
I bought this GS800 PSU about a month ago but have only just found time to make this thread. Now, I know there is a thermostat for the fan and the fan is perfectly silent while either running or not in use . However it seems that at this intermediate stage between the two states to create this terribly annoying buzz :[pouts:. Please refer to the video link below. So, I've have seen the RMA section, but first I would like to know if this issue would be resolved from an RMA or if the same problem would still persist and have been just a waste of time. In which case I would have to get a different PSU because I just can't stand the intermittent buzz any longer. Thanks for your time, I look forward to a speedy solution. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 5, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 5, 2013 I am sorry to hear that. What I would suggest is have it replaced via our RMA process. That way we can make sure that the replacement will not have this issue at all. Please use the link on the left to request an RMA.
