Schorschi
Ok, to be honest I am bit frustrated. I have used ASUS boards for over 10 years and Corsair memory for almost as long. But I am struggling with ASUS Sabertooth 990fx Rev2 and CMZ32GX3M4A1866C9, with a FX-8350 AMD processor. I have tested the memory with MemTest86+ 4.20... errors. I have tried 1 DIMM module at a time, errors, I RMA'd memory back to the website and replaced memory, errors. But I can''t get a straight answer out of anyone on if there is a basic compatibility issue or not. I have real trouble believing that I got to bad kits of memory? I have tried setting the command queue to T2, no help. What else should I try... the only thing have noticed is the memory is labeled 9-10-9-27 but at DDR3 1333 which is the maximum speed at 4x8G 32G configuration, it reads 9-9-9-24? Help! Thanks for any assistance. The only thread I found in this forum implies that some with the same issue, stop using Corsair memory to solve the problem? peanutz94
Your fighting AMD's memory controller limitations. It's not the memory or the MB. With that CPU/MB you are limited to 1600mhz with four sticks installed. So thats why your struggling so much with it. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=110429
Schorschi
I think you missed the part where I said memory is at 1333? I am not running OC'd memory at all, but the recommended 1333, which I explicitly noted in my orignal post. I did RMA the memory back to New Egg and the new DIMMs have fewer errors but still errors. I am going to try the memory in a different system. I have since found a number of threads via Google where people have had issues with mainboards and CPUs not working with this memory, this specific memory.
