sgkean
Just built a new system using the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5 TH motherboard. It has 3 internal USB 3.0 headers, which I needed. Two of the front USB 3.0 ports are connected to USB 3.0 header #1 Two others are connected to the USB 3.0 header #2 Using a drive bay adapter (came with the motherboard) to connect to the USB 3.0 header #3 I have four USB 3.0 hard drives, and three USB 3.0 flash drives. The hard drives, and two of the USB 3.0 flash drives work on all of the USB 3.0 ports. BUT the flash drive I use the most, the Voyager GT USB 3.0 only works on the USB 3.0 header #1. Nothing I can do will let it work on the other two USB 3.0 headers. Swapping cables, reformatting the Voyager GT. Used the Voyager GT on three other systems with USB 3.0 and it works everywhere else except for these two USB 3.0 headers.
Toasted
Latest BIOS? Is the USB detected in Windows when plugged in? e.g. the device powers up? There may be a problem with the USB 3.0 port on your case.
