clwoodwork
I have several of these power supplies with never a problem, then I got a new one for a rig I was building, hooked everything hit the start button all the light on the mobo went out and the p/s clicked and that was it, no workee. Went thru a lot of troubleshooting, removing parts and cables still no go. Took an old Corsair 750w hooked it up and everything worked fine. So ordered another AX1200 from Amazon, got it, installed it, and no workee. I had used the cables from the first AX1200 p/s. After that I started looking closely at the cables I got with the first AX1200 and found the following on the plugs, TXM/HX/AXi only . I used the cables I got with the second p/s which say AX1200 only and now everything is working. So now I have a couple questions: Can I please get the cables that should have come with my AX1200? The other thing is why wouldn't this set of cables work with the AX1200? It seems to me that power supplies all put out the same voltages on the same lines so why did they not work? peanutz94
So now I have a couple questions: Can I please get the cables that should have come with my AX1200? Yuppers, just fill out the online RMA form and in the comments section let them know you recieved the wrong set of cables for that PSu and you would like the correct set sent to you. The should send you a new set ASAP. You might even want to call CS by phone first if you can, this would be the fastest way to have this taken care of. The other thing is why wouldn't this set of cables work with the AX1200? It seems to me that power supplies all put out the same voltages on the same lines so why did they not work? The voltages have nothing to do with it, it's the way they are wired at the PSU end of the cables.
