Sanosuke
Hi folks, I've looked through many of the other threads here and didn't see anything that matched my problem exactly - sorry for the new thread. I've had this headset since september - it worked great by recently I noticed the plastic was cracked on both sides. I went to the place I bought it from and after some bellyaching they replaced the headset with a brand new one. My problem now is the new headset won't work unless it's plugged into the USB. When plugged in I can get audio through the headset and everything works fine - the charge light is solid amber though. When not plugged into the USB I can't even get the headset to turn on. It sort of defeats the purpose of having a wireless headset. I was wondering if there was any way to fix this problem. I would try discharging the headset completely, however since I can't turn it on while unplugged I'm not sure how to go about doing that. Please help!! I would like my wireless headset to actually be wireless. Thanks, Sano

Sanosuke
Really? I just pulled these brand new out of the box yesterday. They work when plugged in with the USB cable, no way it might just be a glitch that has a fix? I don't really want to be without my headset for weeks as I use it on a daily basis. Thanks for your help! Sano
Sanosuke
update: I left the headset unplugged while at work today to try to drain the battery, it still didn't work, and now when I plug it in I still get the solid amber light but I can't turn the headset on anymore. Further update: I held the power button on the headset down as I plugged in the USB cable and the headset powered on. Back to it functioning while plugged into the USB. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 4, 2013 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 4, 2013 It sounds like there may be an issue with the battery Sanosuke. If the headset isn't staying on if you unplug the USB, that is an issue that may have to be resolved through an exchange. If you can't be without a headset, I recommend filling out a RMA and then let me know the case number so I can approve it. Afterwards, you can contact our customer service to setup an advance RMA.
