Toasted
What version of the dashboard are you running? Have you tried reinstalling the dashboard? Have you tried running the dashboard as admin? Latest BIOS and chipset drivers?
bmchenry
I just wanted to note that I'm having the exact same issue. Clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64bit. Most up to date BIOS and all drivers. Looking in my event viewer it is happening every 17 seconds or so all day long without end.
Toasted
Have you tried a different USb header? Tried reinstalling the USB LINK dongle drivers? Tried an older version of the software?
PIM
hello iam have just installed this in my pc and iam getting errors in event veiwer. c-link service Unable to write/verify to register 231. does anybody know what is the cause or know of a fix thanks I had the same error. Infrequently I would see "Unable to write/verify to register 0" as well. I also had an EVENT ID: 7000 in the System Log: "Description: The Power Control [2012/11/10 08:08:41] service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the path specified." After I uninstalled Corsair Link 2 (v. 2.2.0), the C-Link error reports ceased. Nonetheless, I had to edit the registry and Delete every key that referenced "Power Control [2012/11/10 08:08:41] service" to eliminate this error event as uninstalling the Corsair Link 2.2.0, the Dongle Software, and the Dongle did not remove the error event. I assumed, but am not really sure, that this event was caused by the existence of debris in the registry from a previous driver installation that I had not removed or uninstalled prior to installing the Corsair Link 2.2.0 software. I am now using the Corsair AX1200i PSU without the USB Dongle installed or the Corsair Link Software Driver. I now have no repeated errors in the Event Viewer Logs. I have not yet decided whether to try reinstalling the Dongle and the Driver to see if the errors recur, or if "cleaning" my system, prior to their reinstallation will enable them to function error free. I was reading this thread and others to make that decision, but I am still undecided.
