Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm from Turkey and love to use your products. My TX850v2 had 24 pin melted also damaged my motherboard issue happend after using psu and motherboard for 10 months.

Lately my PSU started making noise and my thermal values on computer started to increasing. At 16th of January my computer didn't boot at all, when I was trying to boot by pressing power button cpu fan was spinning and then like 2 3 secs it was stopping working.

I searched thru web on my macbook and saw the issue can be psu and its 24pin. I unplugged my 24pin and saw 12v pins are melted. I was using molex on my motherboard (Asus Maximus Extreme IV-Z) for supplying extra power to PCI-E slot. I saw that was happening computers with SLI.

I also noticed there was burn on my motherboards backside and RMA'd it too.

Asus replaced my motherboard but your turkish local provider (DigitalTrend) refused my RMA wish and labeled psu as user usage issue.

They told me its out of warranty and now I don't know what to do, I was gonna ask price refund or cheque for buying new higher model was thinking AX1200. Now I'm thinking should I buy again corsair psu or not :/ luckily there was backup psu which came with my case (THERMALTAKE ELEMENT T 700W) but I'm not gonna use it unless I'm not gonna use SLI and still don't know what to do.

Can you help me about this issue please?

I seriously don't know what to do, I feel like scammed by turkish provider, I bought this product because of features its bringing and trusted name of Corsair.

Dear RAMGUY, or who may it concern,

I got response for 2nd investigation and turkish provider/distributor for the power supply who got RMA again, classified it as physical damage and refused to RMA it.

The 24pin's 12v problem caused me many problems, Intel replaced my processor (i7-2600k) Asus refunded my motherboard (Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z) but DigitalTrend refusing replace or refund my PSU. It also damaged my rams but G.Skilll refusing my RMA cause it's done by power supply ),(burnt goldfinger pin on one of rams). So that power supply which supposed to never over voltage and should secure my system for any voltage trouble caused lots of troubles to me.

I even bought new parts since I'm working on computer so I needed too, so I spent lots of money cause of this psu and only get few of it back from Asus.

Please help me about this issue. I can't send my psu to your EU HQ because it will cost me more than PSU's price due to customs law/limits on my country since its exceeding 100$ price.

Here is details for my PSU:

S/N: R1012SN2881586

Stock Code: CMPSU-850TXV2EU

Issue: 12v pin on 24pin melted.

Order Date: 23/08/2011

Issue Date: 15/01/2013 (15months)

Also I bought H100i recently, and its corsair link pins are not there seems broken when I bought, I dunno if i should rma it since I'm not sure since problems I faced from DigitalTrend, funny thing is their turkish warranty document stated H100i as power supply not cooler :)). I'm using H100i fans from AISuite program of Asus so not big deal for me but you know...

Dear RAM GUY,

Thanks for reply, I sent PSU to DigitalTrend 3rd time, I would be appreciated if you can contact them and if possible (i know it can be annoying) i would like to get refund (because i spent lots of Money and newly married so its hard for me due to also baby coming :) ) since i bought AX1200w for not facing overdraw/overvoltage for my system, and don't know if you can help me for my rams. I can send screenshots of broken rams.

Also I bought PSU on 23/08/2011 but finished buying previous parts of system on 01/02/2012 so i kept psu for like almost 4-5 months in box :/ total usage of on it 10months for your system i already have RMA request case number #5734042 made it yesterday

Regards
