killer8297
The USB was fully functioning before until I dragged a huge file in there. The USB is detected by the computer but it is shown as a hidden drive and can not be formatted or accessed. The blue led is constantly flashing when plugged in. I have had the exact same issue and RMAed it before.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 1, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 1, 2013 Please try and format it with the format utility at http://www.sdcard.org, if that does not bring it back then please use the link on the left and request an RMA and we will be happy to replace it. jayryan
I want to say that I used the SDformatter for a similar problem and it worked! As stupid as it sounds, I was installing windows xp onto an old system and accidently had my flash drive in the back of the pc, when it came to formatting the drive(s) i deleted the usb drive :( I figured, heck well I can just plug it back into my main PC and reload anything I lost. WRONG. Upon plugging into my Win 7 system, I received the "You must format this drive" message, I tried, did not work, the drive was listed as a Removable drive but showed no File Capacity, would not open up "Please insert media blah blah" error. I thought I had bricked my 32GB survivor I have grown to love so much, especially working with PC's so often. I came here, searched this part of the forum, saw this post, gave that program a go, and it worked 100%, my USB drive is back to normal... I'd like to thank RAM Guy! Greg Rice
I have a 32G voyager 3.0 that has a solid blue light when I plug in to port but PC does not show my device on my computer and light stays solid Blue. How can I access my info to recover and put on another thumb drive? It seems like it is frozen??
NPNP
I have a (non) functioning Corsair Voyage USB 3.0 key. Currently is shows a) a blinking blue light, when put in USB port (in 4 different computers), b) triggers a message "insert media in to drive F", or W or G or any drive name change that I did, c) shows 0 byte, d) when put in a new computer, detects new device and installs, but does not show any content, and, shows as Innostor NAND Flash USB Device in Removable Disk Properties. I have lot of important info on this drive. Is there any way to retrieve my files?
CalFord
NPNP, likely your screwed, just like I am. I trusted Corsair and lost critical data. Same thing happened to me as you. And as far as I can tell, the smart***'s at Corsair just tell suckers to RMA it. Certain do not buy Corsair products. Best youtube vid I saw on this subject showed another sucker fixing is "survivor" drive by repeatedly beating it with a sledgehammer on a thick iron plate ...lol. If the data is valuable enough, get a lawyer.
